It's a busy little town, plenty places to eat or get take away food, beautiful country walks, some specialist shops and lots of outdoor activities and attractions. It
has a great caravan park with lodges and glamping pods and fishing on the river. Caithness Glass has a viewing gallery to see glassblowing and is located at the visitor centre. Drummond Castle and gardens is a must, not far out of town at Muthill.

A busy town on the outskirts of the highlands.
A busy town on the outskirts of the highlands. It is close enough to the high mountains which many will be keen to explore. There were plenty of places to eat; I chose an Italian and was not disappointed. Crieff itself is small enough to be explore on foot; the Glen Turret distillery is a short 20-minute walk from the centre of the town.

Crieff itself is 4 out of 5.
Crieff itself is 4 out of 5. A number of boarded up shops (but this seems to be prevalent everywhere). However, on the plus side, traffic flows very well, the people are friendly and helpful and there is a good diverse range of shops available. Parking is easy. The greatest attribute is the beautful surrounding area. I'd recommend staying out of town to ge the best experience.

Small town with a ton or outside activities.
Small town with a ton or outside activities. Loads of hiking trails, nice golf course right next to town, most everything is in walking distance. The distillery has a beautiful bar but food is quite pricy. Ate at KBs Italian restaurant for dinner - delicious! Love the town and the residents!

We were in Crieff to take part in an organised classic car rally from Perth to Glencoe and back. Crieff was perfectly placed for that. Set in beautiful Perthshire countryside with easy access to everywhere really. The town itself is pleasant.
I saved really hard to take my partner to Crieff Hydro for a 40th Birthday celebration. We travelled with our Newborn baby and I had booked the hotel specifically so we could use the pool and enjoy the lovely walks around the grounds and Crieff itself. The facilities did not disappoint and we had a wonderful time taking baby swimming for the first time, the staff were extremely welcoming and allowed us to photograph the special moment.
We also had a lovely meal in the Terrace restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was lovely.
Lovely lower apartment in town Centre of Crieff. Comfortable and cosy, and an ideal base for exploring the town. Everything thought of for our stay, well equipped kitchen, and loved being able to adapt the bed layout before our arrival. Plenty of space too which when traveling with a teenager is a must. Also liked the home entertainment system, although did take a bit of getting a hang on the lighting, we had a bit of disco working it out.
Hosts were excellent, very good communication before and during and after our stay.
The b&b had good secure parking and is in a fantastic location for the centre of Crieff and for access to other attractions in the area. The property itself is beautiful as are the rooms and the owners are really friendly and always happy to help. A delicious breakfast was provided by Dayle who is an excellent cook. She also had lots of helpful recommendations for things to do. This is a fantastic b&b and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
The location was perfect, within walking distance of town but also with easy access by foot to lovely country walks, bike rides, and the activities at Crieff Hydro. The gardens were stunning. We saw lots of wildlife (red squirrels, hedgehogs etc) and the children loved having a stream in the garden. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very cosy and well-equipped, and it was great to be able to bring our dog too.
It was at a nice remote location although not to far from Crieff town centre. Some excellent views and a great spot to witness the local wildlife too.
The host Jean was lovely and friendly and we had a long chat over breakfast about the history of the building and the area. We would thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay if you are looking for a nice peaceful, relaxing break. Thanks again Jean for a lovely visit. 😊
Quaint property with great facilities and welcoming host. Dining kitchen is very well equipped. Both bedrooms are en suite plus there’s an additional toilet and sink in utility room. Nice view of the hills from the lounge. Crieff is a good location for exploring Perthshire and this apartment provides a comfortable base from which to enjoy the area.
Location was perfect, walking distance to the adorable village of Crieff. Innkeeper was exceptional - funny, kind, and helpful in making reservations, offering directions, and suggesting site-seeing stops. Whiskey carafe in the room was the above and beyond.
Amazingly comfortable bed, beautiful view from the room, sweet little sitting area inside the room set up with tea service. Jean was such a lovely hostess; very kind and friendly. We very much enjoyed chatting with her over a delicious breakfast.
Aileen and her husband Nick were excellent hosts, they were extremely attentive & accommodating. I stayed for a couple of nights and they were a delight to interact with. If I’m ever in Crieff again I’d be delighted to spend the night here.
Exceptionally clean. Fabulous garden. Ideal for touring the area.
Lovely spacious room with comfy bed and hot shower. TV.
Excellent cooked breakfast and lots of fresh fruit for breakfast.
Matt was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Lovely Perthshire village with nice surrounding countryside for walks.
Hotel has nice little bar area, and lovely restaurant - food and wine fantastic.
Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Good size car park behind hotel
The hotel provided a lovely breakfast. It offered quite tables outside to unwind and relax after travelling. Host provided information on historical buildings. Had beautify scented soaps and shampoos.
everything was perfect. the flat was spotless and very comfortable. even washing up was a pleasure with the neighbours doves to watch come and go.
it’s a perfect location to visit the area.
The hotel was situated centrally in Crieff, in the town centre, and close to the venue of the wedding we were attending. The dinner in the evening was good, with high quality steaks.
Outstanding stay in Crieff. Lovely hosts!
Fantastic base for walking into town. Great nights sleep. Breakfast superb. Will be back if around the area in future.
